Who we are

GPS CLAT Academy ("the Academy", "we") is an independent coaching institute. This policy covers the clat.gpsdadiya.ac.in website and the student portal. For anything here, write to matwa2006@gmail.com or call 01572-291260.

What we collect, and why

Registration details (student name, class, contact, guardian details) — to create and approve the account. Because most applicants are minors, registration requires a parent or guardian's consent, recorded at signup.

Study activity (test attempts, answers, timings, doubts, planner entries, feedback) — to grade tests, show analytics, and let mentors help. This is the product working, not tracking.

Proctoring signals during a proctored test only: presence events and a few small snapshots at flagged moments. Analysis happens on the student's own device. We never record video, and students can sit a paper even after declining the camera.

What we never do

We do not sell or share personal data with advertisers. We do not run third-party ad trackers. We do not record proctoring video. We do not collect more than the feature in front of you needs.

Where data lives and who can see it

Data is stored with our database provider with row-level security: a student can see only their own records; academy staff see what their role requires. Answer keys are never sent to a student's browser before submission.

Snapshots from proctored tests are stored privately and are visible only to academy staff reviewing that test.

Your rights

A student or their guardian can ask us to show, correct, or delete the student's data. Deleting an account removes the personal record; anonymised aggregates (like class averages) may remain. Write to us and we will act within 30 days.
